I've been working as a PCS engineer subcontractor for the past 18 months. The job offers local assignments, good rates, and favourable hours.

Working on different types of vehicles in various locations has allowed me to learn and grow, and there may be additional courses available for further development. In my experience, the specialist tools provided by PCS, have been a valuable asset for service support.

Overall, being a PCS engineer has been rewarding, offering a chance to earn well and continually expand my skills.

In my 9th year as a PCS subcontractor, I've enjoyed working on diverse projects. Among them, the Cummins campaigns stood out as the most enjoyable.

Subcontracting has offered me a range of work and numerous growth opportunities. Through various training programs, including Cummins, ZF, and Yutong, I've gained valuable skills and qualifications such as IRTEC and Level 3 High Voltage.

Overall, subcontracting with PCS has been an invaluable journey for my career development and expertise expansion.

In my nearly 4 years as a subcontractor for PCS, one of my standout projects was working at the Alexander Dennis factory, where I performed modifications on the new BYD electric vehicles. This particular assignment allowed me to improve my engineering skills with the training and guidance provided by PCS.

One of the great advantages of working through PCS is the flexibility it offers in terms of work-life balance. I can manage my schedule effectively while continuously developing my skills as an engineer. This flexibility has been invaluable in my professional growth and has contributed to a fulfilling subcontracting experience with PCS.

I joined PCS as an engineer in 2011 and became a subcontractor in 2016. In my 12 years with PCS, it's hard to choose a favourite project as we constantly adapt and provide manufacturer-level support. One project I'm proud of is repowering 6 Optare Versa buses from MAN to Cummins Engines.

The best part of subcontracting for PCS is the rapid knowledge and experience growth. With a flexible approach, openness to learning and endless opportunities. We work with emerging technologies like EV and Hydrogen propulsion, gaining invaluable experience and technical training.

During my time at PCS, I've learned to adapt to the fast-paced industry. Interacting with diverse customers has improved my communication skills. PCS keeps us at the forefront of new technologies, enabling industry evolution.
